Commute

San Francisco is at the top of the Bay Area Peninsula so it's in the middle of everything. Take BART or MUNI if you're commuting within the city, or a quick drive along one of the many freeways if you commute north, south, or to the east bay.

Outdoors

San Francisco is a rare big city that has outdoor spaces in it. Twin Peaks and Diamond Heights in the middle of the city boast hills of forest and trails. On the edges of the city are many beaches with trails, including Land's End, which looks over the Golden Gate Bridge. Golden Gate Park is the largest park in the city, home to museums, playgrounds, Stow Lake, picnic areas, and large grass fields.

Weather

San Francisco falls under the Mediterranean climate, but temperatures vary greatly throughout the city. The city is known for its fog, especially on the west side of the city. The middle and eastern parts tend to get more sunshine, but often more wind due to the hills.

Shopping

San Francisco has multiple malls in the city, but also lots of main shopping streets. Streets like Chestnut, Fillmore, Haight, Ashbury, and Union host lots of stores and boutique shops to explore.
